COMMON QUESTIONS.

Payment for delivery ranges between $225 and $300 a week.  

Rates are negotiated considering the number of papers on the route, estimated mileage, estimated time to complete the route among others.      

No.  Gas and other expenses are part of running your own business.  Keep in mind, however, fuel and other expenses you may incur likely have a tax-deductible advantage.

NOTE: Given recent volatility of gas prices, PCF has taken steps to provide some temporary relief in the form of a positive financial adjustment to help subsidize the sudden increase in your fuel cost.  

It is up to you, the delivery service provider, and whatever efficiencies you implement and/or whatever other deliveries or business you are conducting.    You control how and what order you complete the deliveries, whether or not you bring a helper, and the time you are on the road doing the bulk of your deliveries.  

The hours are up to you – as long as all deliveries are completed by the guaranteed delivery time stated in your agreement.  Once you complete the day’s deliveries, your obligation is fulfilled and the day is yours.

Yes.  Like many service businesses, deliveries are made seven days a week, 52 weeks a year.  And, like any independent business owner, you have the freedom to bring helpers, sub-contract or arrange for someone do your entire route for any or all days. It is up to you when and how often you take time off, as long as your delegate fulfills the requirements of your agreement. 

Yes.  That is part of being an independent businessperson.  However just like fuel and other expenses your business may incur, use of your vehicle is likely to a have tax deductible advantage. 

Absolutely.  There are several ways to increase your businesses earnings with PCF and unlimited ways you can grow and build your business beyond PCF.  With PCF, some options include….

  • TIPS – Good, consistent service increases the chances customers will tip.
  • REFERRALS – PCF will pay $1000 for each independent businessperson referral that contracts and remains active for 10 months.
  • OPT-IN PROGRAMS – PCF offers optional programs throughout the year.  If you decide to participate, you may receive a cash prize
  • ADDITIONAL DELIVERIES – Offer to cover a fellow contractor when they need a day off
