PCF Announces Distribution Partnership with the Boston Herald
Towson, MD USA – June 25th – Publishers Circulation Fulfillment, Inc. (PCF) announced today that it has been selected by the Boston Herald as its primary newspaper home delivery partner.
"PCF’s economies of scale and high-quality delivery reputation in New England were critical factors in our decision,” said John Hoarty, VP of Circulation at the Boston Herald. “Utilizing PCF will allow us to realize greater cost efficiencies, make home delivery service available to a broader geography and improve the service we offer to our existing customers.”
The Boston Herald will leverage PCF’s distribution operations, management teams, and their logistics and routing expertise to improve and expand home delivery operations and reduce costs. PCF will assume the bulk of the Herald’s home delivery responsibilities, effective August 20, 2007.
“We are delighted to be chosen as a distribution partner for the Boston Herald,” said Jerry Giordana, president and CEO of PCF, Inc. “We look forward to working with their circulation team to produce greater value for the Herald and their customers.”
